hot cha cha

I made this...

because of this....

This was at 7:05 pm last night.

What the heck?

This is Seattle people...it's not suppose to get this hot.

{this is probably where I should insert my disclaimer...I don't like it when it gets above 70 degrees}

So I originally started to make another card and I was just getting to warm {working upstairs} and frustrated so I started all over {downstairs} and did something clean and simple.

stitching and glue dots...adds a little something to the card.

I'll save up most of my crafting until sunday, the high for that day is 77.

Check out tomorrow's forecast:

Take a look at these numbers:

See....77 degrees in August...that's what I'm talkin' about...not this crazy 90's stuff.

{P.S.  I am grateful for it not getting into the 100's like some of you ladies experience!}

Tomorrow's my day over on the Paper Made Bakery!

Ugh, Amy, I'm with you. That weather is just not right. Sweaty hands + paper just don't mix.
I love this little tag - maybe they need one that says "temperate temperatures and happiness"?

You would have been miserable growing up in HI like I did with the old schoolers who don't believe in AC. ;) I'm now in PA...balancing out my life...hee hee hee. ;)
I'm glad your creation came out of the heat~such a great big sentiment~love it Amy!

I'm completely with you on loving 70 degree whether...we're at the beach this week...so thankful for a pool and a beach to jump into to cool off! Such an awesome card...beautifully CAS!

Love this cute card! I'm a definite fan of warm weather but our 106 degree temps are even a little too warm for my blood.

Beautiful card and sorry about the heat! We are expecting a hot one today, too! Mid to high 90's plus humidity, because it's Massachusetts and we don't know how to do no humidity! LOL!

Girl is still in the high 80's here too...and now I have three large hot air blowers in my kitchen trying to dry it out...my house is an OVEN...

Your card is totally adorable...love it.

Yes it's been hot here this week! But it's good we get to wear our summer clothes for a week or we'd be complaining about missing summer. Love the card!

HeeHee, my husband and I joke that I have a three degree temperature tolerance. Anything higher or lower and I'm in crisis!! Great card for the season. I just got back and I'm leaving again, so I'm just going to scroll through and admire what I missed. Can't wait to get back on track, I'm missing so much!

Sorry for your heat wave, Amy! That is really hot for your area. We live with that kind of weather for months, but add in humidity.......that's why I tend to hibernate in the summer. ;) I don't like it, either.
Love your card! Perfect CAS design. Great colors. Great sentiment!

Us Northern California girls do have a dry heat in our 100 weather...our only saving grace. I do get used to it though. I love summer and sunshine!

Super cute card Amy...love the sentiment. Hope you get some relief from the heat soon.

I KNOW!!!! it's way too hot (seriously, i'm in the same boat as you with the 'above 70' thing). i have been fairly irritated with the occasional humidity too! if i wanted that i would have stayed in PA after college...

but all that aside... I LOVE your card. CAS and beautiful! perfect for crafting when it's toasty :D

Whoa!! Well too hot! I would melt at that temp. So glad our Brit climate stays lower than that. Not surprised you did a cute CAS card- I'd be living in a pool somewhere !

Come live at my house for the weekend...we have 76 degrees on tap for the next few. A nice break from the 95+ temps for the entire month of July!

LOVE the card, btw ; ) LOL

I think I could handle the 93 when the humidity is only 22%. Here it's 86 with 80% humidity. It's like walking out into a wet blanket!!
