way to go...

Happy Thursday!!!

Can you believe that in 1 week it will be Thanksgiving? Time is just flying by...I gotta get crackin' on some gifts that I want to make...I tell you, just not enough hours in the day!

Well, today's challenge over at 365 Cards is:

Make this one a congratulatory card, so that the outside decorations help to convey the message, which may appear on the inside of the card.

Just so you know, this card is deceiving...looks easy smeasy but it took me a ton of time to do:) I actually hand stitched the edge of the Jenni Bowlin Crepe paper and pulled the thread to make it a rosette. Do you guys remember me saying that I'm your basic LAZY crafter...that's alot for me to do...search for a needle...get out the thread...yadda, yadda, yadda...LOL. The black striped SU grosgrain is actually the 3rd ribbon I used...hence the saying, third times the charm...

All the paper used on this is Jenni Bowlin...gotta love her 4x4 sheets...pure perfection....

The interior sentiment is an American Crafts rub on that says:

Way to Go!

I don't typically do interior sentiments but a rub on is a slam dunk. This would be a great graduation...promotion...or really any 'woot woot' kind of occasion:)

Remember that this week we are being sponsored by the fabbie:

Be sure to check them out!

Psst...did you see the DT Call over at 365 Cards?

I tell you, that Pam keeps us on our toes..LOL..It is such a fun crowd over at 365 Cards...hope that you'll submit:)

Okay, here's a Cutting Cafe update...due to overwhelming response to the FREE Christmas Daily Printable Stamp, Regina has set the file up as a free download...you just have to click on the link..easy smeasy!

P.S. All you English Teachers {have you noticed there are a ton of you that craft and blog?!} must just cringe when you read my posts...when I do the 'ole spell check on my posts it totally lights up..LOL..I just look for misspellings...not errors due to spell check not 'understanding Amy lingo'...

Lovely! It may look simple at first sight but all the details that you did on this card are time consuming! I can relate to ya, sista! Stitching does take a lot of time especially when you don't have a sewing machine :)

Amy, all the sewing you have been doing on your cards makes me want to try! However since I'm already a slow crafter, this probably is not a good idea. ;)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks of the English teachers who read my blog. {ie Ginny!} Half the time I don't think I should blog, but I have way too much fun with it. I know I can be horrible at grammar and punctuation....wish I remembered more of that English I took!

Great card, as usual. Polka dots and buttons makes almost any card a grand slam. :)

P.S. Sorry for this LOOONG comment.

p.s. No worries with your writing for me...I'm only a 2nd grade teacher, so you're way above my level!
