The theme of the hop:  My Favorite Essentials by Ellen Set

Favorite set?!  I have soooo many favorites!  I decided to go with:

For my first project I went super fun  + girly.  I combined the stamped images with the Pebbles Girl Squad 6x6 paper pad.  If you know me, I love coffee themed projects.  She has a Longaberger basket filled with lattes!

She looks so cozy with her boots and scarf, don't you agree?

I did another project with the Essentials by Ellen -  Leading Ladies - Cozy Lady by Brandi Kincaid set:

Crackin' myself up because of the antlers :)  I tried to pull the colors from the current Pin-Sights Challenge:

Sip and Savor

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!  I should be running errands right now but wanted to whip up a card using various Verve Stamps.

The cup of the left is from Autumn Leaves and the to-go cup is from Better With You.  The sentiment is from Always Time.

Hero Arts: Starry thank you

I've been wanting to use the Hero Arts 12 - Point Stars Infinity Dies and love the results:

I've been seeing this technique and love the WOW effect.  The top 2 blue panels are from the Hero Arts Sea Mix Layering Papers.  The third layer is actually chipboard from some packaging that I had squirreled away.

I haven't used the Hero Arts Thank You Fancy Pair dies in forever.  They're perfect for my design.

Reverse Confetti: nuts about you

Yesterday a bunch of my crafty group came over and we had a Friendsgiving.  Really it was a crafty day but why not call it Friendsgiving?  We always have so much fun, oh my goodness...we laugh so much.  Anywho's you came over here for a card, right?

This card features a bunch of Reverse Confetti goodness.

All the stamps and dies are from the Nuts about You set with the exception of the to-go cup.  That is from the Coffee and You set.  The orange and white gingham panel is from the Fright Night 6x6 paper pad.

I was inspired by Curtain Call:

I was able to hand deliver 7 cards to my crafty group today.  I make so many cards, I need to be better about sending them.  Thanksgiving weekend I'm going to address my holiday cards, that's the plan.

November Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop

Hello!  Hello!   It's the Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop!  Now that so many of you have the SugarPea Designs Holiday Product Release, we're hopping to inspire you!

I designed a set of holiday cards using the Mugs & Kisses set as my focal point:

I'm a big fan of gift cards for any special occasion.  Who wouldn't receive a Starbucks card?!

So let's start at the bottom and work our way up.  I used Bitty Bags from my stash and layered them with SugarCut- Snowflake Tags in grey cardstock.  I stamped the fun background from the Christmas Tag Greetings stamp set and heat embossed in white.

The Mugs & Kisses set has me totally smitten.  If you've been following me for any amount of time, you know that my favorite color is green.  I decided to go with a red + green color palette for my cards.  I stamped the confession sentiment (also from the Christmas Tag Greetings stamp set) on cardstock and used my paper trimmer, corner rounder and a hole punch to make my own tags.  I topped everything off with coordinating twine.

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #37 : Celebrate You

Have you played along with the Mix it Up Challenge over at SugarPea Designs?!  Play with the sketch or the inspiration photo, or a bit of both!  You have all month to play along with us!   One randomly selected winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs store. However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp the prize goes up to $50!

Here's how I was inspired by this month's challenge.  This month I focused on the sketch:

I'm going to squirrel this one away for my brother's December birthday.   Don't you love the font on the sentiment?  It is the SugarPea Designs HB2U stamp set.  I did a bit of masking.  The sketch called out for me to add the celebrate + you SugarCuts, don't you agree?

Make sure you visit the SugarPea Designs blog for more inspiration!
